5 Ways to Lose Weight Fast Eating Your Favorite Foods
Whether it’s 5 pounds, 20 pounds, or 50 pounds, if you’ve ever tried to lose weight, you’ve probably tried a diet at some point. You may have even tried multiple diets, or diet pills and supplements, or extreme measures to lose weight – like starving yourself or eating nothing but celery and yogurt for weeks.
Well, there’s good news. You don’t have to do any of that in order to shed pounds quickly. In fact, you don’t even have to change your lifestyle that much. The key, however, is to actually make LIFESTYLE changes. Most people think dieting is something temporary that will let them quickly lose weight – and frequently, that’s true. But in order to permanently keep off the pounds, you have to make lifestyle changes.
Here are a few ways you can lose weight fast while still eating your favorite foods:
1. Cut back on calories
Even just cutting out a sugary soft drink and snack from your daily food intake can eliminate 300-500 calories per day, which adds up to roughly 1-2 pounds per week if you’re consistent about it.
2. Exercise more
You don’t have to go to the gym to get exercise. Even 30 minutes to an hour of walking, daily, can get your heart rate up and help you lose weight. Ideally, you want 30-60 minutes 5 times a week of rigorous aerobic exercise, but if you can’t fit that in, that’s okay. The key is to get regular physical activity. Where exercise is concerned, something is always better than nothing.
3. Alter your diet
You can make small changes to your diet without needing to resort to eating yogurt and celery all the time, or spend exorbitant amounts on diet foods and pills. By incorporating healthy choices into your diet (for example, a whole wheat turkey sandwich with fruit for lunch instead of eating fast food or something junky), you can improve your health AND see weight loss results.

This is another method of “dieting” that’s becoming increasingly popular. Intermittent fasting is basically going for long periods of time (15-24 hours) without food, and then eating larger amounts of food after the fast is over. For example, you might only eat once a day, in the morning or evening, but eat a large amount at your desired eating time. The Downside of a Home Body Detox and What You Can Do to Aid in it
As with most things in life even when it comes to our health, there are downfalls or things that can make us uncomfortable, even when it comes to a home body detox program. Detoxifying your body is definitely essential; however, there are certainly things that you must be aware of as well, while you are on this detox.
You may come down with ailments and before you jump into the program, there are definitely things that you need to be made aware of. Home body detox programs are designed to rid your system of all the toxins and the chemicals that make you feel bogged down and tired.
